SecreTechnoSociety’s Opening Night is to be held at an amazing intimate venue, Club Dissident Peterborough. With a limited capacity 200 Maximum Capacity, this is already anticipated to be a sell out if the amazing headline DJ is anything to go by.

We are VERY proud to announce on the 27th June 2009, HEADLINING DJ REBEKAH TEASDALE. The stunning Rebekah is currently rocking dance floors all around the world, about to set off on a tour of South America, playing at clubs in Saul Paulo and Buenos Auries amongst other buzzing cities. We are lucky enough to have Rebekah come to town after this tour, not for a wind down set, this is a chance for Rebekah to test out her newest and toughest tracks before she rocks it with the big guys, such as Richie Hawtin , Loco Dice and Magda in the Minus arena at the massive GLOBAL GATHERING at the end of July.

In the seven years that Rebekah has been Djing professionally, she has toured every inch of the globe, performing at some of the most exclusive parties and rocking clubs in the world. On her travels she has DJ’d in countries such as South Africa, Australia, Central America, Brazil, Italy, Russia, Dubai, Hong Kong and Thailand. She has featured live on MTV performing in front of 5,000 people for a party at Jianpula, Malta which was broadcasted to the whole of Europe! She is also no stranger to house music haven Ibiza where she has played on the terrace at Space as well as at El Divino.

In the next few months Rebekah will be playing at Global Gathering in the m-nus Arena alongside Richie Hawtin, Magda and Gaiser, Fabric in London and a tour of Central and South America as well as continuing her monthly dates at Lost Souls:Techno Club in London.

On the production side of things a new EP on Phobic Records is due out in May containing tracks Deluded/Out of Nowhere. A second EP is due out on Carl Cox's favorite label Mad Hatter in July which will showcase some of Rebekah's best work to date.

It goes without saying that the future is bright and diary packed for this lady of techno and minimal and her peers are starting to take note and give her the respect she deserves.... Anyone that has seen her play out live know first hand that there are no gimmicks or clichés about this female DJ.... just unadulterated raw talent and a passion for underground house and techno.

Also Joining us will be Peterborough favourite Arthur Barr. Arthurs a talent that origionates from peterborough where he mastered his trade, then he set off to leeds to take on high aims and set goals seeming almost unreachable, however his exploding talent and enthusiasm for the music has helped him sail to his future as one of the UK’s finest. Currently a well known DJ on the Circuit, producer and label boss of FullBarr Recordings based in Leeds, Arthur has also won the IDJ Magazine Raw Talent mix competition. An Undoubtable hit for the future!!

Alongside residents Kristoff and Shindigga who will be getting the party started with groovy techy heavy beats from 10pm.

May I just add, the soundsystem in this venue is something else, the deepest, sweetest sounds come from this system, and its going to be such a treat to hear such a tough selection of tunes come from it!!!!
